As a convenience, we have provided downloads for some common Microsoft DirectX 8.X installations. It is important to note that some of our game titles may require a more recent version of DirectX. If you already have a later version of DirectX installed on your system, then it is not necessary to download or install any of these files.
For those of you running compatible versions of Microsoft Windows, we highly recommend downloading DirectX 9.0 or later from the Microsoft DirectX site.
